The first step is to preheat your oven to 350°F.
To make the dough, you'll need 1 cup of flour, ¾ teaspoons baking powder, ¾ teaspoons salt, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of milk and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract.
Mix all the dry ingredients flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together first before adding in the wet ingredients such as eggs and milk.
Whisk everything well together with a whisk or an electric hand mixer- either one will work just fine.
Get the dough mixture in equal amounts to form uniform size cookies. For this I recommend using an ice cream scoop.
Make cookie dough balls using the center of your palms and place them one by one.
Cover each cookie dough ball generously in icing/powdered white sugar. Do repeat the process if you feel dough moisture has made the surface damp.
Place these sugar coated cookie dough balls in the oven for 11 minutes.
Get the baking sheet out and place it over a wire tray to get to room temperature.
